What is CashZone ($CASHZ)?
CashZone is an electronic flyer advertising platform created in the first quarter of 2021. It aims to provide a platform for advertisers to market their products more efficiently and for users to get rewarded with each advertisement that they view.
Augmented Metaverse
CashZone built an augmented metaverse that combines a real map with a cache zone layer attached. By placing the cache zone layer on the real space, the project uses the map as an “augmented metaverse”. The technology is also called a digital twin, a virtual representation that serves as the real-time digital counterpart of a physical object or process. CashZone wants to use the real city maps as the base of its virtual space to make it more real and easy to navigate for the users. In CashZone’s augmented metaverse, users don’t have to use avatars and can just be themselves. However, they can consume digital content that only exists in its virtual space.
Virtual Land
The project’s augmented metaverse contains virtual lands that users can purchase. Purchased lands are like virtual advertisement spaces for sale. Landowners can earn advertising revenues and trade the ownership of the land for capital gain. CashZone provides a metaverse land exchange, registry office, and auction houses to support the sales of land. CashZone receives 3% registration fees, brokerage fees, and auction fees for the services provided. A graph showing the virtual land spots on the DApp is displayed on the right.
The main service on CashZone is the advertisement. Stores and brands can pay for marketing campaigns in specific spaces on the metaverse. Users can see bubbles of ad alerts nearby and choose to view them. Rewards for viewing the ad are directly deposited into the user’s wallet. Since the map is connected with real-life cities, these advertisements also have a reach limit. For example, the advertiser of a restaurant can choose to advertise its services to users within a 500-meter radius. People who are out of the range will not be able to see the ad. This way, the restaurant can control its advertising costs to be the most optimal.
What is the CashZone DApp?
CashZone published its DApp’s Android version in April 2022. According to Google analytics, the DApp has a monthly active user count of more than 12,000 as of June 27th, 2022. According to the project’s disclosure, the DApp is downloaded more than 22,000 times and it has more than 43,500 total users. The DApp’s iOS version is still under development. According to the whitepaper, the project released three different DApps, one for ad viewers, one for advertisers, and one for virtual land owners.
What is $CASHZ?
$CASHZ is the utility and governance token of CashZone. Token holders can exercise governance voting rights. In addition, $CASHZ is used as the payment token within the platform.
