According to TechFlow, on September 28, 2025, the decentralized satellite network Bearcat Space has completed the lab deployment of its first satellite, DeStarlink Genesis-1, scheduled for launch by the end of October 2025. The satellite will run an Ethereum wallet and conduct on-orbit Ethereum transactions in collaboration with the Ethereum Foundation, marking the first blockchain node in space. Bearcat Space is working with leading aerospace, Web3, and AI partners to build the first decentralized satellite constellation, DeStarlink, to advance space-based blockchain, AI computing, and Bitcoin mining, aiming to drive humanity toward a decentralized interstellar civilization.
