Fidelity's Crypto Holdings Rise $3 Billion in Q3 2025, Driven by Ethereum

In accordance with Finbold, Fidelity's digital asset custody increased by $3.02 billion in the third quarter of 2025, rising from $45.13 billion on July 1 to $48.15 billion by September 30. The growth was primarily driven by Ethereum, with holdings increasing from 625,770 ETH to 853,380 ETH, adding nearly $1.97 billion in value. In contrast, Bitcoin custody balances fell by 4,160 BTC during the same period. This shift reflects a growing institutional interest in Ethereum beyond Bitcoin dominance.
