According to Coinotag, Lamina1, the blockchain content platform founded by science-fiction author Neal Stephenson, has launched Spaces on Consensys’ Layer-2 network Linea to bring creator-owned media to Ethereum. The platform allows creators to retain intellectual property rights while offering low-cost, fast onchain experiences and verifiable attestations for digital works. The first project, Artefact, developed with Weta Workshop, lets players shape narrative factions and outcomes. Lamina1 reports over 150,000 active addresses since its 2022 launch, with support from investors including Joe Lubin and Systemic Ventures.
