As per TechFlow, on November 10, OpenMind, a robotics software company, partnered with Robostree, the largest distributor of Unitree in the U.S., to launch the world's first comprehensive humanoid robot education course. The course, based on OpenMind's OM1 operating system, offers a modular, video-based curriculum covering motion, perception, coordination, and interaction, enabling learners to program, test, and deploy humanoid robots in physical environments. OpenMind CEO and Stanford professor Jan Liphardt stated that the development of humanoid robots has outpaced educational support, and the course aims to provide hands-on hardware experimentation beyond simulators. Robostore CEO Teddy Hagerty added that the collaboration combines top-tier hardware with a complete educational foundation, enabling academic institutions to adopt a new paradigm in embodied intelligence learning. Robostore, which has supported over 100 leading institutions including Harvard, MIT, and Stanford, will offer the course this month through its academic partners and research labs.
