In accordance with Coinotag, REX and Osprey filed 21 altcoin ETF applications, many structured as staking ETF products that include validator-derived yield for assets like ADA, AVAX, NEAR, and SUI. The filings use Cayman subsidiaries and European/Canadian ETP exposure, while SEC decisions are delayed by the U.S. government shutdown. Most proposals include staking rewards and face October 2025 deadlines. The SEC’s new generic listing standards may shorten approval timelines, but the shutdown has paused progress. Sixteen crypto ETF proposals, including Solana and XRP, are affected by the delays.
