Derived from Crypto.News, Ripple has partnered with Securitize to integrate Ripple USD (RLUSD) as an off-ramp for tokenized funds from BlackRock and VanEck. The integration allows holders of BlackRock’s USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) and VanEck’s Treasury Fund (VBILL) to exchange shares for RLUSD via a smart contract. BUIDL is currently a $2 billion real-world asset (RWA) on-chain, while VBILL has a market cap of $74 million. Support for BUIDL is live, with VBILL support launching soon. Securitize will also integrate the XRP Ledger to expand RWA utility. RLUSD, a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin, has a market cap of over $741 million and is designed for institutional use with regulatory clarity and stability.
