In accordance with Blockchainreporter, Supra, a Layer-1 blockchain built for Automatic DeFi (AutoFi), has announced a $1 million bounty from its CEO, Joshua Tobkin, for any developer or team that can create a faster, verifiably correct EVM-parallel execution engine than SupraBTM. The challenge, known as the SupraEVM Speed Challenge, is in addition to an ongoing $40,000 USDC performance-based reward. SupraBTM has outperformed existing solutions like Monad in public tests, and the bounty aims to validate its status as the fastest EVM execution engine. The challenge requires open-source, reproducible results under defined conditions, including processing 100,000 Ethereum mainnet blocks and achieving a 15% performance improvement across multiple thread configurations.
