As reported by Bijié Wǎng, the x402 ecosystem has seen a sharp decline in activity, with 30-day trading volume dropping nearly 90% and transaction counts falling in sync. The decline has raised broader concerns about whether the crypto market is losing momentum. Recent data from x402scan shows transaction numbers fell to 1.3 million, a 56% drop, while transaction value dropped to around $329,000. Despite this, the x402 protocol continues to develop, with integrations like Chainlink (LINK) and the Bio Protocol (BIO) expanding its use cases. The total market cap of the x402 ecosystem has grown from $800 million in late October to over $12 billion in just two weeks.
