Bitcoin Price Rises to 5% of All-Time High, Crypto Market Cap Surpasses $4 Trillion

Citing RBC, on October 2, Bitcoin (BTC) rose above $119,400, reaching within 5% of its all-time high of around $124,000 recorded in August. As of 11:00 Moscow time, BTC traded near $118,500, with a 2.13% daily increase. The leading cryptocurrency’s market share remained at 58.8%. Ethereum (ETH) also rose by 5.5% in 24 hours, trading near $4,370, 11% below its August peak. Other top-10 coins like Dogecoin (DOGE) and Solana (SOL) rose by 10% and 7%, respectively. The total crypto market capitalization increased by 4% to $4.07 trillion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $258 billion. Zcash (ZEC) saw the largest gain among top-100 coins, rising 73% in a day and 150% in a week, driven by integration with THORSwap and Grayscale’s Zcash Trust offering.
