BlackRock Avoids Bitcoin ETF Trading Amid Market Sell-Off

As reported by Finbold, BlackRock recorded no transactions for its Bitcoin ETF on September 22 amid heavy market selling pressure. While other major ETFs saw significant outflows, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) reported zero net inflows or outflows. The broader Bitcoin ETF market saw $363.10 million in net outflows that day. On September 23, BlackRock recorded $980 million in Bitcoin outflows, marking one of the year’s largest crypto moves. The firm also reduced its Ethereum ETF exposure by $15.10 million.
