Based on Coindesk, Nasdaq-listed Fold (FLD) announced a partnership with Stripe and Visa to launch its first Bitcoin-only rewards credit card. The card, which runs on Visa’s network and uses Stripe Issuing’s infrastructure, allows users to earn Bitcoin rewards on everyday purchases. Cardholders will receive 2% back in Bitcoin instantly, with an additional 1.5% when using a Fold Checking Account. The company also noted that shoppers can earn up to 10% back with major retailers like Amazon and Starbucks. Fold CEO Will Reeves emphasized the card’s simplicity and accessibility, stating it requires no exchange accounts or staking. Stripe and Visa both praised the initiative as a step toward broader Bitcoin adoption. Fold has processed over $3.1 billion in transactions and distributed more than $83 million in Bitcoin rewards to date.
