Citing Odaily, GriffinAI founder @Griffin_AI revealed that the GAIN token (BNB Chain) recently experienced abnormal minting and massive sell-offs, causing a sharp price drop. Attackers exploited an unauthorized LayerZero forged node by deploying a fake Ethereum contract (token TTTTT, address 0x7a8caf) and adding it as a LayerZero node for GAIN on the Ethereum side, bypassing the official contract (0xccdbb9). Attackers then minted 5 billion GAIN tokens on the BNB Chain and continued to sell them. The attacker wallets still hold an excessive amount of tokens.
