As reported by AiCoin, ProCap BTC Chief Investment Officer Jeff Park stated in an interview with crypto entrepreneur Anthony Pompliano that the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will have a broader regulatory role in the crypto space than the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Park noted that while the recently proposed crypto market structure bill has complex issues, the overall regulatory framework is gradually taking shape. He added that the CFTC's core functions, including regulating financial innovation, capital efficiency, leverage tools, and derivatives, align closely with the current development direction of the crypto industry, which is building new settlement layers to improve capital efficiency.
