Citing Finbold, Robert Kiyosaki, author of 'Rich Dad Poor Dad,' warned on April 4, 2025, of 'the biggest stock market crash in history,' claiming the U.S. was in a recession and heading toward a depression. At the time, the S&P 500 stood at 5,074 points. By September 23, 2025, the index had surged to 6,656 points, a 31% increase since his warning. Kiyosaki urged investors to move away from 'fake paper assets' like stocks and bonds and instead invest in gold, silver, and Bitcoin. While equities have rebounded, gold, silver, and Bitcoin have also seen strong gains.
