As reported by CoinEdition, Uniswap has introduced Continuous Clearing Auctions (CCA), a new permissionless mechanism designed to help teams bootstrap liquidity on Uniswap v4 while enabling transparent, on-chain price discovery for new and thinly traded tokens. The system, developed in collaboration with Aztec, includes an optional ZK Passport module for private yet verifiable participation. CCA replaces traditional opaque liquidity formation by running all auction processes on-chain, from bid submission to pricing and settlement. The auction gradually distributes tokens through a continuous clearing process, recalculating a market-clearing price at the end of each block. Once the auction concludes, the proceeds automatically seed a Uniswap v4 pool at the discovered price, providing projects with immediate liquidity. The CCA contract is already live and will receive additional modules in the coming months to support future token launches.
