Deposit: This means to transfer assets from other platforms to KuCoin TR, as the receiving side--this transaction is a deposit to KuCoin TR while it is a withdraw for the sending platform. We now support deposit funds to Funding/Trading account directly. You can click here to enter the KuCoin TR deposit page.

Part 1. How to Deposit Coins into KuCoin TR                                                            

Note: Before you deposit any coin, please make sure to activate the relevant deposit address and make sure to check whether the deposit function stays available for this token.

On the Web:

From the top right navigation bar, select Assets → Deposit or Click Add Funds directly

Part 2. Deposit Did Not Arrive at KuCoin TR                                                     

  1. **Please confirm that the recipient's address belongs to KuCoin TR and the address is correct. If you have input the wrong address or transferred a token that isn't listed on KuCoin TR, your funds won't arrive and KuCoin TR cannot recover them.**

    1.  There is no record in the blockchain or TXID (transaction ID):

    It is recommended that you contact the sending platform. It is possible that your transfer was unsuccessful. If your transfer is successful, there will be a TXID (transaction id).

    2.  There are records in the blockchain, but the number of confirmations is insufficient.

    Deposit transactions are automatic, but the transfer will need to be confirmed by the blockchain. Your funds will be automatically deposited to your account after sufficient confirmations. Please be patient and wait for the required number of confirmations.

    Please check the confirmations of your deposit via the following sites:

    ETH blockchain: https://etherscan.io/

    NEO blockchain: https://neotracker.io/

    LTC blockchain: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ltc/

    3.  The transfer has been confirmed but still hasn't arrived.

    If you have received enough confirmations for your transaction, please try checking your account again in 2-3 hours. Sometimes, there is a delay in the time needed for our system to record your deposit.

    If you still haven't received your deposit after 3 hours, please contact our online support and provide the following info:

    1. The recipient's address and TXID (transaction ID)
    2. The type(s) and amount(s) of coin(s)
    3. Your E-mail address on KuCoin TR.

Part 3. Deposited to the Wrong Address

 

If you have made a deposit to a wrong address, there are several circumstances that may occur:

1. Your deposit address shares the same address with other certain tokens:

On KuCoin TR, if the tokens are developed based on the same network, the tokens’ deposit addresses shall be the same. For example, tokens are developed based on the ERC20 network like KCS-AMPL-BNS-ETH, or tokens are developed based on the NEP5 network: NEO-GAS. Our system will automatically identify the tokens, so your currency will not be lost, but please be sure to apply for and generate the corresponding tokens wallet address by entering the corresponding token deposit interface before the deposit. Otherwise, your deposit may not be credited. If you apply for a wallet address under the corresponding tokens after the deposit, your deposit will arrive in 1-2 hours after you apply for the address.

2. The deposit address is different from the token’s address:

If your deposit address does not match the wallet address of the token, KuCoin TR may not be able to help you recover your assets. Please check your deposit address carefully before depositing.

 

Part 4. Deposited Wrong Cryptocurrency

 

There are several reason you may deposited a wrong crypto as the below:

1.Depositing coins that have not been listed on KuCoin TR or have been delisted from KuCoin TR

Though KuCoin TR supports Bitcoin and many other altcoins, there are still many coins that have not been listed yet. Coins that have not been listed yet or have been delisted will not be displayed on KuCoin TR when you deposited.

2.Depositing a coin to the wrong network

Certain coins (such as USDT and ETH) support multiple blockchain networks on KuCoin TR. Ensure the network selected matches the network of the address entered.

For instance, only the mainnet of ROUTE is supported on KuCoin TR, meaning that ERC20 deposits will fail to go through.

3.Depositing coins with a different contract address

Blockchain projects may upgrade the contract address of their token for certain reasons. KuCoin TR will publish an official announcement on KuCoin TR if we support the upgrade. Once the upgrade has been completed, deposits to the old contract address will not be credited to your KuCoin TR account.

For instance, KuCoin TR supports the contract address upgrade of TEL. The old and new TEL contract addresses are provided below.

  • Old TEL contract address (not supported): 0x85e076361cc813a908ff672f9bad1541474402b2
  • New TEL contract address (supported): 0x467bccd9d29f223bce8043b84e8c8b282827790f

 

  1. If you have deposited a wrong crypto, there are two methods you can recover your deposit:

    1.Submit a self-recovery request on Help Center page to retrieve your funds. You can simply click here to appy for it.

    2.If you cannot find the token/network in drop-down options when submitting a self-recovery request, please contact our online support and provide the following info:

    • The recipient's address and TXID (transaction ID)
    • The type(s) and amount(s) of coin(s)
    • Your E-mail address on KuCoin TR.

Part 5. Deposit a Cryptocurrency Without a Memo/Tag/Message

Memos, Tags, and Messages are additional address features needed for identifying the transaction recipient of a wallet address. For some tokens such as EOSXRPXLM, and XYM, the deposit address for all KuCoin TR users is the same. The Memo, Tag, and Message are required for the platform to identify which account the transaction should be credited to. If you forgot or fill in the wrong Memo when making a deposit to KuCoin TR, the funds will not arrive in your account.

 

If you have made a deposit a wrong crypto, there are two methods you can recover your deposit:

1.Submit a self-recovery request on Help Center page to retrieve your funds. You can simply click here to appy for it.

2.If you cannot find the token/network in drop-down options when submitting a self-recovery request, please contact our online support and provide the following info:

  1. The recipient's address and TXID (transaction ID)
  2. The type(s) and amount(s) of coin(s)
  3. Your E-mail address on KuCoin TR.

Part 6.What To Do if Your Deposits not Arrived

 

Step 1. Collect the following information.

(1) Your KuCoin TR UID and registered email address or phone number.

(2) The name and the amount of the coins you deposited.

(3) The TXID of the transaction.

(4)  The screenshot of the transfer record from the withdrawal platform.

Note: Ensure that the TXID, coin type, amount, and address are shown on the screenshot. If you deposited from a private wallet such as MEW, provide a screenshot of your account address.

 

Step 2. Submit a request to the KuCoin TR Support team and provide the information collected.

Please be patient, as we will reply to you by email once there is an update.

To solve the issue as soon as possible, please avoid repetitive submissions for the same problem. Thank you for your understanding.
