As reported by The Coin Republic, global crypto millionaires surged 40% year-over-year to 241,700 by mid-2025, driven by Bitcoin's price rally. The total cryptocurrency market cap exceeded $3.3 trillion, a 45% increase from June 2024. Henley & Partners' Crypto Wealth Report 2025, released on Sept. 23, 2025, noted that 145,100 individuals hold at least $1 million in Bitcoin, up 70% from the previous year. The report also found that 450 individuals hold at least $100 million in crypto, a 38% increase, and the number of crypto billionaires rose to 36 worldwide, a 29% gain. Institutional adoption accelerated, with U.S. regulators approving spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs and the U.S. President and First Lady launching their own crypto projects.
